Motivational & Inspirational Speaker, Dunedin After returning home from overseas travel in the early 90's, Julie discovered she was pregnant with her first son Zachary. 18 months after the birth of her second son Sebastian, Julie noticed the vinyl in her bathroom floor was shimmering. Already partially sighted she visited Dunedin Hospital where three months later, on March 27, 1997, she was declared legally blind. Faced with learning a whole host of adaptive skills, Julie got on with learning to live life as a blind person. "I felt I had two choices" says Julie, "I could either be pitied or admired and the first simply wasn't an option to me". Come to hear Julie give an inspirational and motivational talk.

William would like to return to Dunedin to run a workshop on the “Seven Rays” This day workshop enables students to explore the nature of the rays and to help you potentially formulate the nature of your personality and soul rays.
To make William’s visit viable we require up to 25 particpants for the workshop. I will be taking names for those interested, when we reach this number I can proceed to confirm the workshop in Dunedin.

Soul Center Presents Live virtual workshop with Gangaji December 2011 & January 2012
To bring the wealth of spiritual knowledge to the people of Dunedin Soul Centre is announcing a series of “virtual workshops” With the use of technology we are able to connect live with spiritual teachers or guides to conduct 2-way video and audio conferencing from anywhere in New Zealand. We are announcing a “live” audience with Gangaji in Dunedin as she visits Auckland to conduct a week of retreats and workshops. I have developed a one page editorial and advertisement listing for “Natural Health and Wellbeing” to be listed in the Dunedin Star paper on a monthly basis over a 3 month period.

However for our time Soul Center has requested a block advert at no charge to advertise our own events. Jay Ray Author of “Reweaving the Web” and “The Way Through”

Jay Ray has 28 years of experience, here and overseas, in the fields of Psychosynthesis, Shamanic practice and philosophy, and also has qualifications in hypnotherapy and human sexual behaviour. Her two books "Reweaving the Web" and "The Way Through" won book awards in 2009 and 2010.

For years now Jay Ray has been working with the knowledge that feelings are the messengers we must listen to, to lead us and inform us on meeting our needs and following our potential. Each one of them is important. Even though some are uncomfortable, all are important and none are negative in the sense of 'bad'. Our upbringing has trained us to listen to the needs and advice of others. In this way our culture has controlled us, Sometimes it has been for survival, sometimes for the power of the few. Now we are in a time where the voices of culture in our heads cannot be left to control us as we step into a future filled with unknown potential and dangers. We must listen to a deeper knowing that has always been there but which we have been taught to ignore.
Each feeling has a specific piece of knowledge for us. Learning how to interpret what our feelings and emotions are telling us is a skill we have largely lost. But it is there inside of us, informing us all the time. Now science has done extensive research that shows this is probably correct. Our brain receives information from the heart, not the other way around. If we don't listen to the heart, we listen to the Past and the Past cannot take us through this Present into the New Future. Listening to it can only produce more of the same.
Later on this year Jay Ray will be conducting a series of classes designed to teach you about emotions, and help see what your feelings are telling you. You will learn how to take responsibility for meeting your own needs through acting on these feelings, how to tell the difference between thought and feelings (most people can't tell to begin with), and how to allow the more comfortable feelings to flood your consciousness once the needs have been met, ensuring old repeating patterns are stopped in their tracks.
We cannot move forward towards our potential with blocked emotions and we are being called to move forward now, for the health of ourselves, our communities and Gaia herself. This opportunity is for anyone who has already done some work on themselves and feels ready to take the next step. An initial interview with Jay Ray will ensure that participants are on a similar developmental level before acceptance into the programme to maximize benefit to all.
The course will commence on Thursday August 4th until Thursday October 6th. (10 once-weekly classes, 3 hours in duration from 6.30pm to 9.30pm)
This is an opportunity not to be missed. It is the first time Jay Ray has made this course available to Dunedin participants and as it extends her work, would also be an ideal addition for those who have done prior work with her.
